All volunteering opportunities are currently on hold

As a charity we rely on the support of our wonderful volunteer team and depend on their skills, enthusiasm and commitment.

We have a wide variety of roles in many departments and hope that when the centre re-opens you will visit this section again and see how you can make a difference to those living with the impact of cancer.

In the meantime, you can read some of our volunteers’ stories here:

Harry’s story

Harry started volunteering at Penny Brohn for his Duke of Edinburgh Challenge, and loved it so much he applied for a job in the Community Fundraising Team.

Marion’s story

Marion started volunteering for Penny Brohn UK after her mum and brother-in-law both faced cancer. It became a cause close to her heart and now she is a meet and greeter, helping to welcome, settle in and have supper with clients when they first arrive at the centre.

Christine’s story

Christine Derrick grew up in Bristol, knowing about us as Bristol Cancer Help Centre. When she was diagnosed with cancer she wanted something new to do and spotted a poster asking for garden volunteers.
