Our 2 swing seats have reappeared, one on the far side near the old stables and one beyond the back of the Summer House, signalling the first signs of summer.
Today, paths were mown through the Wildflower Meadow, now we can wander and get close to all the spring flowers there without fearing where to tread. Soon we will be able to spot all the different grasses and summer meadow flowers appearing.
The 3 herb and cut flower raised beds (outside the Art Room) are being prepared for fresh planting, and the flower bed has been sown with a mixture of seeds in sand to provide flowers for dining table vases and edible flowers for the kitchen.
The horsechestnut buds are bursting into flower and this week the pale blue forget-me-nots, bluebells and purple honesty, are coming into full flower.
