Move Dance Feel
Led by MDF founder Emily Jenkins.
For women only – Women affected by cancer – either just been diagnosed, undergoing treatment or post treatment. We also welcome women who are supporting someone with cancer.
Move Dance Feel is a creative dance project for women designed to enhance wellbeing and offer holistic support.
The online session offers an opportunity; to dance gently and safely as part of an online community, in response to different creative ideas.
Each session has a 45-minute dance session followed by an optional brief chat if you want to stay online and socialise with other attendees.

From 12th April to 14th June – 10 consecutive weeks
6pm – 7.15pm (45 – 50 mins dancing plus an optional social)
From 16th April to 18th June – 10 consecutive weeks
10am – 11.15am (45 – 50 mins dancing plus an optional social)
We welcome women signing up anytime; it doesn’t have to be at the start of the term.
To join a session, please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org. You’ll then be sent the Zoom meeting links, as well as links to dance films and resources available to access online for free (once per week).
- You will be asked to complete a registration form upon joining
- You will need a laptop or iPad that supports audio and video output
Zoom have created a video and guidance on joining a session.
I really enjoyed the session. For me living in Cornwall and able to join such a class is amazing .Thank you. To have online classes available all the time not just during the current pandemic would really help people like me that live far away from any centres to connect.
It’s 40 minutes of joy and freedom. Just the right level for me. I don’t feel pressured, and I don’t strain my body. Lovely warming up, connecting with my body and with the flow of movement. Structure but freedom to improvise within that too. Absolutely lovely, does wonders for my state of mind. Thank you.
