Penny Brohn UK is working with Vinehealth, the digital cancer companion, to provide more information to people living with cancer in the UK.
The Vinehealth app helps people living with cancer to better track, manage and understand their cancer care through behavioural science. The app, which is free to download from the App Store and Google Play Store, is designed to help people feel more in control of their care.
Living with cancer is about more than just taking medications and attending doctor appointments. It’s about getting the right amount of activity, the right amount of rest, eating a balanced diet, and getting the right support around your care.
Vinehealth was created through a shared passion to improve the quality of life of people affected by cancer. It was founded by a Cambridge-trained doctor and NHS England Clinical Entrepreneur, and a data scientist and former VP of leading health tech startup Touch Surgery.
Rayne Patel (Co-Founder of Vinehealth) said: “We’re extremely lucky to be working with charities like Penny Brohn UK. We know from our research that online information can be overwhelming, which is why we work with trusted partners to deliver accurate and relevant articles through our app.
“Living with cancer is complicated and can be really stressful, so at Vinehealth we believe that helping people to understand their care and providing simple, accurate information is vital. That’s why we particularly love Penny Brohn UK’s information, which focuses on supporting real people who are trying to live the best life they can with cancer.”
