Recent studies have shown the positive health benefits of community singing for all, but especially for anyone living with cancer. Singing is great for the immune system and does wonders for stress levels, improving your breathing and sleep patterns. It also gives you the opportunity to develop a connection with others and boost your sense of wellbeing, confidence and self-esteem.
Our community choir is a fun, uplifting and friendly group, and is open to anyone affected by cancer – whether you’re a patient, survivor or supporter of someone living with cancer. You don’t need to read music or be an accomplished singer to join us. Check out our new video here:
If you are interested in singing with us, come along on Wednesday 6.15 – 7.30pm to meet our choir master, Doug Watts and our other choir members, or drop Doug an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
