Hours:             37 hours per week, part-time or flexible working applications are welcome

Salary:             c. £64,000 per annum (pro-rata for part-time hours)

Contract:         Permanent

Location:         Flexible working applications will be considered.

Regular visits to Penny Brohn UK Head Office in Bristol will be expected

Through our team of cancer support experts, which includes doctors, nutritionists, counsellors and exercise therapists, Penny Brohn UK helps people with cancer to feel more physically and emotionally able to manage the impacts of their diagnosis and treatment, be more in control of their choices and have the best quality of life possible. By making our services freely available, our aim is for all people with cancer to be able to access the high-quality support they need.

Having celebrated our 40th birthday this year, we have set ourselves some bold ambitions for the future and you, in the new role of Director of Strategy & Insight, will be critical to us achieving our goals. Reporting to the CEO, you will manage and monitor the implementation of our strategy as well as leading the delivery of key strategic programmes. You will work as a business partner to colleagues across the organisation to support with the development of their own plans and, most importantly, you will make sure that our data and insight puts the needs and wants of people with cancer at the heart of every decision we make.

In line with our development plans, we would particularly value hearing from you if you have experience of developing and implementing strategy across at least two of the following areas: Digital Technology, Data, Brand & Marketing, Income generation, Service development. Not-for-profit and/or health sector experience is preferred.
