We have an opportunity for an experienced Counsellor to work on a fixed term basis, starting as soon as possible for two years until the end of 2023. The role sits within a small established team where support and supervision are provided. There is flexibility within the role with regards to location as online work can be considered as well as face to face.
Job Title: Counsellor
Hours: 15 hours per week, work pattern to be agreed
Salary £25,000 to £26,000 pro-rata per annum depending on experience
Contract: Part-time, fixed term until November/December 2023
Location: There is flexibility with regards to location which includes the Charity’s retail shop and therapy rooms in Queens Road, Clifton, the National Centre in Pill and from home

Ideally, candidates will be interested in counselling in an environment that works with the whole person as interconnected mind, body, spirit and emotions and have some experience of working with cancer or other life limiting conditions. You will have some years of experience as a Counsellor and of working in a short term model between 6-12 sessions.
The contract will be for 15 hours per week and the work pattern can be discussed at interview. Some support with supervision is given both in house and in the form of a contribution towards external supervision.
