The 2.6 Challenge is a brand new nationwide fundraising challenge set up to help save UK charities in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic.

We’re asking you to join Team PB and get fundraising at home!

The virtual challenge launches this Sunday, 26 April on what should have been the date of the 40th London Marathon. We need you to dream up an activity based around the numbers 2.6 or 26 and fundraise or donate to our cause.

The 2.6 Challenge is open to anyone of any age – the only requirement is that the activity must follow Government guidelines on exercise and social distancing.

We are expecting to lose over £500,000 from cancelled events in April and May alone. The 2.6 Challenge is a simple and fun way for you to get involved and make a huge difference, keeping our services running now and in the future.

So will you hop the length of your garden 26 times, cycle 2.6 miles, do 26 push ups, host a quiz with 26 questions, run 2.6 miles in your garden, create 26 Tik Toks, juggle for 2.6 minutes or something else?

‘For two years I’ve needed Penny Brohn. Now they need me. I’m challenging 26 friends and family to complete an ice bucket challenge and donate £5 to Penny Brohn. I can’t wait to see all the videos!’
