We all need more than medicine to live well and even more so when we are diagnosed with cancer.
With over 50% of us living with cancer for 10 years or more, the challenge now is not dying but living well with an uncertain future, particularly during these uncertain times.
- 1 in 3 people with cancer have depression or anxiety
- 9 out of 10 people have emotional, social, or physical unmet needs at diagnosis
- 1 in 2 of us will experience cancer in our life-time
You can STILL help
With our events called off, you may be wondering how you can help whilst coronavirus is still preventing social gatherings. Thanks to the wonders of modern technology there are now tonnes of fun ways you can fundraise at home.
We have put in place emergency remote services to help combat isolation during the COVID-19 pandemic. Your support will help keep these services free. Our one-to-one telephone and online living well services help people with cancer cope with the emotional, psychological, practical and social impact of cancer. Helping them to feel more in control, less alone and more connected.
We are a listening ear, whenever someone needs to talk to us. By raising just £40 you could help someone to access one-to-one support from a counsellor when they need it the most.
Together we will change life with cancer. For good.
