In 2016, we raised £1550 through collection tins.  If you’ve got a business, shop or pub and would be willing to collect money on our behalf, please do get in touch. Alternatively, what about keeping one at home?

Across the UK there’s an estimated £345 million in loose change in our trouser pockets, purses, sofas and cars – use one of our tins to collect up all your loose change and by the end of the year, you could have gathered something really significant!

Manby’s Timber store in Cheshire has had a Penny Brohn collection tin since 2002 and has raised £1,780 in that time.

The United Kingdom coinage is kept under constant review and a number of changes have been made recently to prevent circulation of counterfeit coins. The new £1 coin has been in circulation since March 2017 and by October 2017, the old £1 coin will have been phased out.

It has been announced that households must ‘copper up’ and either spend or deposit them before 15 October. To that end, we’re asking you to lend a helping hand and donate your old £1 coins towards our #RoundPound scheme. Call 01275 370 125 to find out more.
