Unfortunately we have some sad news regarding the wonderful Cedar tree at our National Centre. Sadly, this weekend, the tree will be taken down because it is decayed.

The procedure was proposed a number of years ago but we were lucky to find ways of supporting it over the last 4 years. In that time, many of our staff, and of course our service users, have found great solace and support under its branches and sitting against its trunk.

Despite a recent attempt by the garden team to save it, now 100s of years old, it has now become too high a risk to people on the lane and therefore will be cut down over the weekend.

Please enjoy these pictures of the Cedar, taken this week at the Centre in its memory.
