Some of the volunteers hard at work – and play !  reseeding the lawn by the enormous rustic compost bin the team built a few years ago and having fun on top of it.

The bluebells are at their best down in the woods today and we have several Wedding Cake trees, this one is down in Brights Patch by the Gazebo.

Out in the Wildflower Meadow the Camassias are coming into flower and are going to make a lovely show. the flowers are so delicate when they open out and a few narcissi are still looking good out there too.

Finally today, in the Cedar Garden, a dear little bright pink and yellow Aquilegia, about half the height  of the more usual ones, the flowers are superb.
