Wellbeing days

Penny Brohn Gardens 1

Our series of Wellbeing Days are offered at our lovely National Centre in Pill, near Bristol, and are an opportunity to come together with others affected by cancer for a relaxed, fun and inspiring day in beautiful surroundings.

The days are led by our experienced teams, with activities and ideas designed support your physical and emotional health and resilience. With four themes to choose from there is something for everyone, and each day includes time to explore our wonderful gardens, connect with others and enjoy a delicious lunch, freshly prepared in our own kitchens.

The Wellbeing Day themes rotate each month and include:

  • Relax and Rejuvenate – a gentle day of restorative sessions including relaxations, breathing techniques and mindful meditation
  • Food and Move – ideas and inspiration to help you eat well and move more in ways that are enjoyable and sustainable
  • NatureWell - a day to celebrate the joy and benefits of nature for wellbeing, offered in partnership with the Natural Academy
  • Getting Creative – an opportunity to engage with a range of uplifting activities including music, arts, dance, journaling etc.

We welcome any adult affected by cancer to join us for the Wellbeing Days, and no previous experience is required.

Penny Brohn UK believes that everybody should have equal access to the support they need to live life as fully as possible with the impact of cancer. All our services are free to join for anyone affected by cancer, and are offered on a donation basis and made possible by your generosity.

For each of our Wellbeing Days we suggest a donation of £45 per person to help cover our costs, or can offer a regular giving option if you would prefer to support our work with a monthly donation. However, we do understand that this is a difficult time for many people and simply ask you to give what you can – if you can.

We look forward to welcoming you soon.
