Penny Brohn Community Choir runs every Wednesday 6:15-7:30pm during term time.
You don’t have to be able to read music, there’s no audition and no pressure to perform. It’s a hugely fun and informal Choir, with a very talented Leader – Doug Watts who makes each session great fun and easy to get stuck into.
Recent studies have demonstrated the positive health benefits of community singing for all, but especially for anyone living with cancer. Singing is great for the immune system and does wonders for stress levels, improving your breathing and sleep patterns. It also gives you the opportunity to develop a social connection and boost your sense of wellbeing, mood, confidence and self-esteem.
Most importantly, though – it’s a lot of fun!
