Why should you do it? Every two minutes someone in the UK is diagnosed with cancer. With over 50% of us living with cancer for 10 years or more, the challenge now is living well with an uncertain future, particularly during these uncertain times. Did you know that
1 in 3 people with cancer have depression or anxiety
9 out of 10 people with cancer have emotional, social, or physical unmet needs at diagnosis
You can make a lasting difference to these people. While the NHS does incredible work in treating cancer, our expertise is vital in helping people understand what it is to live as well and as long as possible. In taking on this trekking challenge you’ll be fundraising to allow us to support cancer patients to regain control of their lives, to remember that they are more than their cancer diagnosis.
