3 Peaks Challenge

September 2 - September 4

3 peaks challenge

Climb 10,000 feet and walk 22 miles in 15 hours!

About the 3 Peaks Challenge:

From the scenic Glen Nevis Valley to the picturesque Snowdonia National Park, join us for one all mighty charity trek as we take on the UK’s giants on this classic 3 Peaks Challenge! We’ll take on Ben Nevis (1,344m), Scafell Pike (978m) and Mount Snowdon (1,085m) and aim to summit all three covering around 22 miles in a total trekking time of 15 hours or less. On the trek you will be provided with a Global Adventure Challenges Leader and all travel and meals. You can see more about this challenge here.

2nd – 4th September 2022

Our favourite highlight:

All 3 peaks are pretty epic but the sunset at Mickledore is truly something to behold.

What do I need to know?

We are delighted to once again be working alongside Global Adventure Challenges who have over twenty years experience in organising such trips, they have helped thousands of people reach their goals and life-long ambitions. Every Expedition Leader is highly experienced and well trained to provide everyone with the most enjoyable trip possible.

Global Adventure Challenges know there are a lot of things to consider before you get back out into the world so they’ve put together a new Travel with Confidence policy, outlining the steps they and their suppliers are taking to make sure that you are safe. Just click on the link above to explore their policy, and if you need to know more then don’t hesitate to get in touch.

You will be required to pay a non refundable registration fee of £95 at the time of booking and then there are two payment options:

Minimum Sponsorship (Option A) with this option you fundraise a minimum amount of £810 sponsorship for Penny Brohn UK out of which we pay your challenge costs (£405).

Self Funded (Option B) – you personally cover the full costs of the challenge out of your own pocket which is £405 and then fundraise as much as you can; all of which comes to the charity.

“Wow what an experience! I’m aching in places that I didn’t know were possible but I’m so proud of each and every one of us who did it and for such an incredible charity”.

Laura, 2018 3 Peaks Challenge participant

ABSOLUTELY! This trek is suitable for all ages and abilities  with the correct training. The minimum age for this trek is 18 years old (14-17 years must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian). The one thing everyone will have in common is a great sense of adventure and a desire to help a charity. Whether you are taking part as an individual or as a team with friends, team spirit will be flying high on the challenge.

This trek has been graded as 'Extreme' (3) on Global Adventure Challenge's grade scale, and is designed to be challenging but achievable as long as you train correctly beforehand. The aim of the challenge is to summit all three peaks in a walking time of 15 hours (not including transfer times or food breaks) - the fitter you are the more you will enjoy this challenge. A full training guide will be included in your welcome pack.

The overnight accommodation will be a travel hostel. This is a challenge after all!

You will be provided with a full kit list in your welcome pack when your register. Usual items of kit are required such as broken in walking boots, walking poles and a head torch – other than this you do not need any specialist kit.

All you will need to carry with you is a small day pack whilst trekking to carry items such as your phone, camera, sun-screen, energy snacks etc. Your luggage will be transported to the accommodation via the support vehicles.
