The event at St Katherine’s School sports hall on 8 May saw 35 participants take part in three exciting workouts including circuit style exercises, Zumba and low impact interval training.

Emily Warner from Clifton Asset Management and Karen Johnson from Morgan Lloyd presented Phoebe Hunt, Corporate Business Development Manager at Penny Brohn UK for a cheque for £2010 raised through entrance fees for the event and a luxury raffle.

Emily Warner, Executive PA to the Board of Directors and Clifton Asset Management, said: “Back by popular demand we were delighted to host another successful ‘Getfitathon’ for the eighth year running. We wanted to raise money for Penny Brohn UK because we want to continue supporting this local charity. Thank you to everyone who worked out so hard to raise such a brilliant amount.”

Phoebe Hunt, Corporate Business Development Manager at Penny Brohn UK, commented: “A huge thank you to Clifton Asset Management and Morgan Lloyd for organising another fantastic ‘Getfitathon’ in aid of Penny Brohn UK this year. All the money raised will help us support more people affected by cancer to live as well as possible for as long as possible.”
