In 2019 we’re bringing you four evening cooking demos. The same informative and delicious session but at a time that suits those currently working (and conveniently coincides with dinner time). Themed healthy cooking demonstrations with Victoria Kubiak – Every fourth Thursday of the month from 10.30am-12pm in our food demonstration room. Drop-in
In addition to our weekly cooking demonstrations we’re introducing some new themed events where we’ll share tips and ideas to help you make nutritious meals and snacks.

Eating well on a budget – eating well doesn’t have to cost the earth. In these demos Victoria will demonstrate how to prepare a selection of tasty dishes and snacks with affordable ingredients.

Deliciously quick meals – For when time and energy is low.
28 February and 29 August 2019.

Getting creative with herbs and spices – We can’t sing the praises of herbs and spices enough, they’re bursting with antioxidant and antimicrobial activity, so we encourage you to use plenty of these during winter. This themed demo can give you some great tips on how to incorporate herbs and spices into your meals.

Shaking up breakfast – Ideas and inspiration to help you think outside of the breakfast box.

Nourishing treats – Tempt yourself and your loved ones with tasty treats that are good for your body and soul.

Super salads – Who said salads need to be boring? Let Victoria inspire you to create your own colourful and filling salads.

Sensational soups – Soups can be comforting and convenient and are a great way to consume a whole bunch of vegetables in one tasty dish. In this demo Victoria will help you create tasty and nourishing soups.

Foods for fatigue – A workshop to explore how we can manage fatigue with useful and proactive tips to regain your energy and motivation. We’ll look into how food can help towards supporting our vibrancy and a simple demonstration will be included.

Festive food – An opportunity to explore ideas of foods to incorporate during the festive season – treats to enjoy, some traditions to keep and easy dishes for entertaining.

In these themed workshops we’ll take a therapeutic look at how you can adapt your diet to help with certain symptoms.

Eating well to balance blood sugar
Keeping blood sugar in check is important for many aspects of health and may play a supportive role in an anti-cancer diet. In this masterclass we’ll look at foods and eating patterns to support blood sugar balance, and share tasty tips and recipes to make it easy.

Eating well with an anti-inflammatory diet
An anti-inflammatory diet is often mentioned in relation to cancer but it isn’t always clear what this really means. This masterclass will look at foods and nutrients that can influence inflammation in the body, and how to develop a sustainable and enjoyable anti-inflammatory diet.

Eating well to support the immune system
Just in time for autumn, this masterclass will look at foods and nutrients to support immune health and share tips and tasty recipes to help incorporate them into your diet.
