Yoga for breast cancer – help shape research

>>Yoga for breast cancer – help shape research

We are looking for women who have an experience of breast cancer to help design and evaluate a yoga course specifically for women who have experienced breast cancer.

The project is being run by researchers based at the University of the West of England together with Penny Brohn UK. The team are looking for a small group of women to attend three meetings and provide feedback on the advertising of the study, the questionnaires for participants and the planned yoga content. Women with and without prior experience of yoga are all welcome to take part.

The meetings will take place at Penny Brohn UK’s National Centre near Bristol on 19 September (10am-12pm), 7 November (10am-12pm) and a date in May 2019 (date and time to be arranged). Refreshments will be provided and travel expenses reimbursed.

If you are interested in being involved in the study or would like more information, please email Dr Emma Halliwell on emma.halliwell.uwe.ac.uk.
