Are you an organised administrator with a desire to help others? If so, we are looking for a Bookings Administrator to join the busy team at the Penny Brohn UK National Centre to help manage the administration service for our clients, enabling them to access our services.
Job Title: Bookings Administrator
Hours: Part-time, 22 hours per week, Wednesday to Friday
(this role is part of a job share therefore working days are fixed)
Salary: £17,000 – £18,000 pro-rata, per annum, depending on experience
Location: Penny Brohn UK, National Centre, outskirts of Bristol
Benefits: 25 days holiday per year (pro-rata) + bank holidays (pro-rata) + additional days over Christmas and New Year period. Free parking in a beautiful semi-rural setting.
What the role involves
This is a busy client facing role providing the booking and administration service for clients with a cancer diagnosis and their supporters. The role involves a lot of telephone based work, talking to clients and managing the bookings process for them with appropriate record keeping. The post holder will work alongside and support volunteers both within the Bookings and Helpline teams.
Candidates will need to have strong communication, organisation and interpersonal skills and be able to work within a busy environment, whilst prioritising the needs of the clients at all times. The ability to manage client information confidentially and sensitively is paramount within this role.
