We have an exciting opportunity for a talented and motivated Corporate Fundraiser to join our dynamic Partnerships Fundraising team.

Position Full-time, permanent

Hours: 37 hours per week

Salary: £25,000 per annum

Location: National Centre, Pill (outskirts of Bristol)

With excellent business development and relationship management skills, strong organisational capabilities and a focus on delivering exceptional supporter care in every interaction, the post holder will be responsible for looking after the relationships the charity holds with our key corporate partners. The role is varied, offering a blend of operational and strategic drivers, and a level of autonomy to shape the function in collaboration with the Head of Partnerships.

This is an exciting time for Corporate Fundraising at Penny Brohn UK, with a new strategy and a fresh proposition with which to engage potential partners. This means you’ll be able to work with a broadly appealing approach, tailored to connect with a wide range of corporates – wherever they may be in their journey of engagement with charitable partners. You will be involved in the development, implementation and delivery of the Corporate Fundraising strategy, and will be responsible for growing the potential within Penny Brohn UK’s existing portfolio of partnerships, alongside inputting into the attraction of new businesses to the charity.

In addition, the role offers the potential for development as the Corporate Fundraising function continues to progress and to grow in the immediate future.  We are looking for someone with demonstrable experience of thriving in a targeted business to business sales environment, who is proactive, with a strong work ethic, and who would like to gain experience working in fundraising in a busy, growing charity.

Main duties:

  • To effectively manage a significant high value portfolio of partners and prospects based on bespoke cultivation plans, using contacts and intelligence from across the organisation
  • To research and identify new partnership opportunities
  • To ensure that any reporting commitments are carried out in a timely manner and to a high standard
  • To attend relevant networking and corporate events to maximise and develop fundraising activities
