We are delighted to say the hockey festival, held in memory of former client, Abby Webb, was a huge success – raising over £6,700 to support Penny Brohn UK.

GB and England hockey stars (some Rio gold medallists), including Zoe Shipperley (co-organiser), Sarah Haycroft, Hollie Webb, Susie Gilbert, Georgie Twigg, Jo Hunter, men’s goalkeeper George Pinner and former men’s goalkeeper James Fair, supported the fundraising hockey festival at Stowe School on Saturday, May 13. The event was held to remember Bucks and England U16 star, and friend Abby Webb, of Bierton, Bucks, who sadly died of a rare type of lung cancer within six months of diagnosis.

There was an 11-a-side memorial match, for anyone who has ever played hockey with Abby, a 24-mixed teams of seven, half-pitch tournament; the England men goalkeepers invited people to take part in a shoot-out and it ended with live music and a DJ in the evening.
