cropped-rich-8_retouched_for_webMeet Rich; the ex-serviceman and self-confessed “roughty-toughty” who never imaged he’d find what he needed at Penny Brohn UK.

Rich was first diagnosed with cancer in 2009, when what he’d though to be an ear infection turned out to be a tumour.

Since then, he’s had neck, lung and brain tumours, surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy; you name it. And no one is more surprised than Rich that one of the key factors in getting him through all these challenges is Penny Brohn UK;

“I thought it was all beads, sandals and tie-dye”, says Rich; “I was quite surprised at what I found here and how it has sustained me for all these years. Turns out it was exactly what I needed.”

Read Rich’s story here:

Rich is, without doubt, an extraordinary man. But at Penny Brohn UK, our aim is to show everyone how to take back control of their health and wellbeing and to live well with cancer. Whether they’re feeling strong and defiant or overwhelmed and defeated – or anything in between. Perhaps you know that from your own experience?

We are told that what makes us special, almost without exception, is that everyone who comes through our doors feels just like Rich; that they too received exactly what they needed, despite being entirely different in character, needs, attitude – and everything else.

We hope you agree this is worth protecting.

That’s why we’re asking, will you make a gift today, to help us deliver on our promise of supporting people through the most frightening and testing time of their lives?

Your gift will enable someone like Rich – or someone entirely unlike Rich – to live as well as possible for as long as possible, and whatever the amount, we’re extremely grateful.
